IIDA announced the finalists of the 2024 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, which honor innovation and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 15 categories.
“Each year the submissions for this award redefine the meaning of design excellence through their captivating projects,” said IIDA Executive Vice President and CEO, Cheryl S. Durst, Hon. FIIDA. “We take great joy in honoring the skillful craftsmanship and dedication demonstrated by the finalists.”
Entries were reviewed by a jury of design professionals, including, Blitz Co-Founder and Architect, Melissa Hanley, IIDA, AIA; Soucie Horner, Ltd.|SH Studio Director, Meg Prendergast; HDR Director of Interiors and Professional Associate, Abby L. Scott, FIIDA.
“The jury admired design teams' creative vision and is delighted to highlight their exceptional work,” said Hanley on the behalf of the jury. “Each project was exciting and immersive, showcasing how the intentional integration of color, light, and materials can breathe life into a space.”

All finalists and winners will be honored at a special celebration on February 15, 2025 in Paris alongside the 2024 IIDA Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards winners. The Best of Competition winners for both competitions will also be revealed during the celebration.
